ET?  Apparently, according to our guide, Stephen Spielberg got his inspiration for ET from a visit to the Galapagos and the tortoises. Could be.

 Punta cormorant bay of the flamingos - dry - no shrimp -  no flamingos
 Clear water - you can see the salt deposits. The pink is algae that the shrimp eat. The shrimp turn pink. The flamingos eat the shrimp and turn pink.
